Media Devices:
Coaches on the field must be hands free of any recording device but may wear GO PRO like devices. Any other device found by Referees will be penalized Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
iPads or Tablets are allowed on the field (5u and 7u only) and sideline for educational purposes only.
Head Sets:
Coach-to-Player or Coach-to-Coach devices are allowed.
They can only be put on 7u or older players.
The coach may be in the Press Box or Stands talking to a coach on the sideline or on the field.
Only (2) players on offense and only (2) players on defense can wear a device to hear a coach speak. If it is determined there are more, the team will be penalized Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
Once the ball is snapped, coaches need to stop talking to their players. If a Referee hears or it is determined some other way, the team will be penalized Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
Spectator-to-Coach/Player is prohibited as a circumvention of being certified.
If it can be determined this is happening, the team may receive a Forfeit for an illegal volunteer.
Additionally, if it is determined that the spectator is a person banned or indefinitely suspended by TYFA, the team may be charged with a Level III violation.
