1. Organizations are responsible for ensuring that all team uniforms comply with the League Home and Away Uniform Policy.

2. First Offense:

A $300 fine will be assessed for each age bracket in violation.

3. Second Offense:

The game will be declared a forfeit.

4. Continued Non-Compliance:

If the uniform violation is not corrected after the second offense, the organization will continue to forfeit each subsequent game until the uniforms are brought into full compliance with League policy.

1. Numbers must:

• • Be Arabic Numerals (00, 0, 1 to 9); and not Roman Numerals.

  • Not have a '0' precede any other number other than '00'.

  • Be on the front and back of the jersey even if they are taped on. 

  • Be contrasting to the base color of the jersey REGARDLESS of any border.

  • Be 6-10" on the back and 6-8" on the front.

  • Numbers must be centered front and back.

2. Any player in violation must come off the field until the issue is fixed. If removing a player from the field causes the team to drop below the minimum of (11 for tackle or 7 for flag) eligible players,  reference On Field Minimum Rule.

3. Numbers not the right size, not Arabic, or not contrasting will cause the organization to be charged with a Level II violation each game until it is fixed. 

• Jerseys may have a player's name or nickname (youth appropriate). There is no violation if all the jerseys do not have a name.

• Refer to Flag Dress Code / Tackle Dress Code for any Cancer or Memorializing Markings.

• Any advertising from a sponsor must be youth appropriate and does not interfer with the jersey number.

• Advertisements can only be 2" in diameter and placed on the sleeves or front breast area. 

• Any violation of this policy will cause the organization to be charged with a Level II violation each game until it is fixed. 

No two players on the same team can wear the same number at the same time on the field.

1. A team may have up to two players share the same number, but they can never be on the field together during a play.

2. '0' and '00' are treated as two different numbers.

3. If a player with a shared number goes in for special teams (kickoff, punt, etc.), the coach should let the referee know which player is in, or have them wear a different jersey, to avoid confusion.

4. If two players with the same number end up on the field for the same snap, it's a penalty against the team, treated like an illegal substitution/unsportsmanlike conduct foul, charged to the team - 10 yard penalty.
